Avocado Toast with Egg – Easy & Healthy Recipe

Avocado toast with an egg is a true delight for a simple, nutritious, and tasty breakfast or a quick bite. Filled with healthy fats, proteins, and fiber, it keeps your belly filled and gives you energy.

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado

2 slices of whole-grain or sourdough bread

2 eggs (poached, fried, or boiled)

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)

Salt & black pepper to taste

1 teaspoon olive oil (optional)

Microgreens or chopped parsley for garnish
 

Instructions:

Toast the Bread – Toast your bread slices until crispy and golden.

Prepare the Avocado Mash – Mash the ripe avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Cook the Eggs – Fry, poach, or boil the eggs as per your preference.

Assemble – Spread the mashed avocado on the toasted bread, place the egg on top, and season with red chili flakes and extra black pepper.

Garnish & Serve – Drizzle with olive oil and top with microgreens for extra freshness.

Suggestions And Variants: 

Add some cherry tomatoes or cucumber slices for an extra dash of freshness. 

Try sprinkling on some feta cheese or sesame seeds. 

Make use of whole-wheat or gluten-free breads.
